Download >Our Tower and Climbing Rescue program comes in two parts, Climber 1 and Climber 2. Both are in line and approved by STAC (The Structure, Tower and Antenna Council). This course is meant for technicians who have to climb and work on telecommunication towers. Custom and on-site training is available for this course.
Tower Training >Gain competency in the thorough examination of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). This Petzl course is perfect for individuals who are responsible for equipment and work at height PPE inspections. But, we encourage all technicians to take this course to gain a better understanding of equipment inspection, which ultimately prevents equipment failure on site.
Petzl PPE Inspection >We understand that sometimes you need training for a specific work site or structure. Understanding the rescue procedures, protocols, and equipment for a particular job is important and you may not have someone qualified in-house to run this program. Our training team has helped many companies in this scenario with our custom rescue training. These programs can be completed at our facilities or on site.

There are 4 days of training and then a 1 day evaluation . There is a third party SPRAT Evaluator, separate from Pacific Ropes, who comes in to conduct your evaluation.
Your certification will last for 3 years. After 3 years, you will need to re-do the whole course again.
Unfortunately, sometimes you may need to re-assess because you made a silly mistake or had a brain fart. You are allowed up to 60 days to re-assess. If you wait past 60 days, you will need to take the full four days of training again.
The SPRAT course $2100 plus GST and only available at our Vancouver location (prices subject to change).

I was very insecure about taking my Irata certification but Jemia and Marbel (Plus all the ladies from the woman in rope access clinic) helped me to overcome my fears. I have been lucky enough to have Cam and especially Jana as instructors making our week of training superb! I just realized how much I love hanging on ropes. Many thanks
