The 1 day Confined Space Awareness course is intended for Tradesmen, Municipal Employees, Boilermakers, Millwrights, Labourers, Shipbuilders, CSO’s, Plant Operators, Process Engineers or anyone who needs to work in confined spaces. Topics include:

• Gas Detection Equipment
• Toxic, explosive and oxygen deficient environments
• Confined Space Permits
• Hazard Assessments
• Lock out, Tag out

This 3 day rescue course is ideal for Tradesmen, Municipal Employees, Boilermakers, Millwrights, Labourers, Shipbuilders, CSO’s, Plant Operators, Process Engineers, Industrial Rescue Teams and any rescue professional who will be performing ground level rescues. Topics include:

• Mechanical Advantage, Tripod Vertical Rescue
• Horizontal Rescue
• Hazard Assessment & Rescue Plans
• Rescue Team Equipment Maintenance and Inspections

• Mechanical Advantage, Belay Skills
• Raising and Lowering Patient & Basket Stretcher
• Hazard Assessment & Rescue Plans
• Rescue Team Dynamics
• Rescue Team Equipment Maintenance and Inspections

• Fall Protection
• WHMIS training is recommended in advance of confined space
• All rescue training requires a high degree of fitness. Postpone any training if you are recovering from an injury.
